About Us

Hey, y'all! We are the Fay Family. New parents with a pre-schooler (and another on the way!) that love to travel.  Starting this blog was half "let's save these memories in the cloud" and half "I bet other parents would appreciate this"

Our goal is to help parents who might be nervous about traveling with a baby/kid by showing all of our triumphs AND failures! And trust us, just like any other day in parenthood, there are a ton of failures! We are not going to pretend to have all the answers, but we will try to tell our stories as honestly as we can.

If you're like us, when ya’ll found out you were pregnant, you felt everything change for the good and bad. One thing we worried about changing was our ability travel. Traveling with a baby just seemed so daunting.  But, as the pregnancy went on, we realized that this baby was joining OUR world...not vice versa! Our child would love travel if we led by example. Just like any other thing we might want to teach her, travel would just be part of her life. And, you know, so far it's worked! We threw tight schedules away and let her adapt to OUR life and we are all happier for it:)

So please, feel free to comment or share anything you've found in your travels in life or actual travels! My hope is to build each other up to be brave enough to show our children that we don't live in a bubble, that the world owes you nothing and we should always take care of one another.
